POPSICLETOES

I wanted to share our journey with our family and close friends so I started a blog. My main focus my muse if you will, is Devynn, our precious baby girl. I want to share our journey towards healing and unconditional love.
It's a bit a surprise, starting this blog. I'm excited, but slightly uncomfortable. It's so public and open, somehow I feel pressured and a little exposed.

So lets open the doors to this public space!! POPSICLETOES...
Curb, my souls mirror, for as long as I can remember has always commented that my feet were always icy cold. Sweet and thoughtful as he was (still is) he use to carry a pair of socks in his pockets when we go to the movies, ready to rock when the theater blasted their AC. He dubbed my icy feet as "Popsicle Toes". Devynn unfortunately inherited my icy feet. She has popsicletoes just like mommy. So now we carry extra socks and give her constant foot massages to warm her lil' tootsies. She may have cold little feet but she has such a big heart that warms us from the inside out!

Our life seems to be defined by what is going on in the present time.--right now--Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Junior Blind, Treatments Plans, Doctor's visit, Home Treatment--navigating the road to wellness--physical, spiritual and emotional recovery, and getting on with our lives. We, Jason (aka Curb) Devynn and myself aren't defined by the special challenges we face. We are much more than that.

So: We are children of God. We are passionate about life and love fuels that passion. We are blessed with wonderful and supportive family and friends. We live in a little house in sunny CA. We love the ocean, we try to go at least once a week to see the water and refuel and dream. We only have one child. Sure, we have special needs. We also have a good life and getting better. I married my best friend and Devynn is our angel girl, our heart grew arms and legs and crawled out of our chest. We are blessed and inspired, we are the Cripe Family:)
